Dan Wiseman

Dan is the managing partner at WCT. He brings more than 30 years of experience in consulting, training, and research in the areas of organization development, change management, leadership development, and strategic planning for both profit and non-profit organizations. Dan’s specialty is designing and facilitating whole systems change processes in organizations. He has worked internally in a variety of organizations including insurance companies, government agencies, a public utility, the American Productivity and Quality Center, United Airlines as well as leading his own organization. He recently completed a two year position as the membership coordinator at NW Chicago  non-profit organization. In addition he is a certified life coach from Coaches Training International (Intermediate)

 

Professional Engagements

Dan has worked with more than 80 libraries and non-profit organizations on planning, leadership and change projects.  He played a major role in the design and development of the LEAD-IN process, a leadership program for Indiana Librarians.  Dan played a major role in the design and delivery of the first ever Library Vision Conference (1997) in Illinois. Recently, he designed the first ever continuing education summit for Tennessee Librarians. Other projects have been with regional library systems in Illinois as well as with State Libraries in North Dakota, Indiana, Illinois, New Mexico, and Tennessee.  Dan has authored numerous publications in organizational change, direction setting, and leadership.  He has been a frequent speaker at library staff days, library associations, and other professional gatherings.
