Dan Wiseman Addresses Annual International Leadership Association Conference

Schaumburg, IL November 9, 2006- Wiseman Consulting and Training announced today that Dan Wiseman addressed a key group of International Leadership Professionals on the topic of Reskilling and Reconnecting Adults to Serve in the Not-for-Profit world.  The presentation was given at the 10th International Leadership Association Conference held in Chicago.  The conference brought leaders from all areas of the world to hear about not only research but practical projects that show new approaches to leadership.  Dan’s address was done as a part of a panel that included Dr. Tracy Manning of the University of Maryland and Dr. Marcia Lipitz, the Executive Director of Chicago’s Executive Service Corps.  Dan’s address referenced insights gained from a project that he helped design called Legacy Leadership.  The Project was created to provide volunteers with the skills necessary for them to help neighbor based not-for-profit communities become financially sustainable and to effectively market their services.  Dan Wiseman stated,  “Legacy Leadership is a great example of just what volunteers can do to make an impact if they are given the right skills and support”.
